Dog Tore Up the Garbage in the Bathroom, Aided in my Being Late to Work

On the plus side, I'm currently enjoying some of Yuko's Cure Tea (fresh sliced ginger, a couple teaspoons of honey, hot water) which is REALLY tasty. I made a surprised sound of glee after tasting it (annnnnd burning my tongue) so now the office thinks I'm a LITTLE crazier than they did yesterday...

Weekend of Funzors - Impressions
Impressions/Memories of this fun weekend, in easily digestible shots (and no particular order):

Note: I skipped the previously mentioned fondue :). No white wine, and I ended up using my dippable ingredients in other recipes...

...is slowly forming. I just went shopping and bought an entire garden's worth of vegetables from Big Y and the local Asian market. *sigh with happy*
Is there anything like the smell of fresh ginger? Bok choy? Ichiban eggplant? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Follow up on frozen yogurt
Mossunicorn left me a very good comment:
"The churning (and freezing the bowl beforehand) both help ensure that you get small ice crystals, instead of stabby bits of icy doom for the mouth. Of course, if you don't mind letting your ice cream/frozen yogurt melt a little, that solves the ice problem. Churning also makes sure everything is mixed in ( Read more... )
