I know it's the Fourth of July and I know there's all that bombs bursting in air stuff going through people's heads but can we PLEASE for the love of all things holy STOP with the freaking firecrackers now???? It's giving me a headache and scaring my cats.

There's a giant rat outside my office.
For the last week or so, there have been protesters at all the entrances to my office complex. We got an email yesterday telling us that these are union workers protesting the fact that the building management is using non-union workers to do some roof work on two of the buildings here.
