It was raining this morning, and I didn't want to get out of bed. It's happening again, where work becomes mundane and I want no part of it. Work is suffocating me. The creative projects are slim to none, and the few that do exhist don't even identify with the original concept at the point of completion. The cool elements are taken out, and gaudy or stale elements are put in their place. It's hard to enjoy my job when I can't be proud of the work 'I' produced. I have a date tonight. An encore to a really fabulous first date. I'm nervous because I really like him. Most of my recent dates (well there haven't been any that recent) have been people I've met online. Getting to know someone in real life is so much more fun!

He has the best smile ...

My feet hurt.
My body is sore.
My mind is tired.
My soul is sad.

But I still feel good.
My spirit up lifts me.
I've still got spunk.
And desire.

Evidently I'm pure and sin free. I was hoping for something more lush.

I love reading things that other people have written that seems to be what I feel or have felt at one time. This song touches me.
