I'd pre-ordered my copy of Peter's I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons from Amazon.com because I didn't see it at Conlan. That was back in...early summer, I think. Now Amazon is telling me that it won't be available until January.

Does anyone know anything about the status of this book?

I've been asked to find a reading for a friend's wedding in two weeks. I'm the back up person, otherwise I'd have more notice. Peter S. Beagle wrote some amazing thoughts about love and companionship, but sadly I'm stuck in a city that doesn't have my books. Has there been any recent word on the "Two Hearts" shipment with audiobook?

Okay, this may sound stupid, and I'm sure thousands have asked before me, but it's been bugging me! Ever since I realized that the butterfly in TLU speaks in quotes, I've wondered where they came from. Most of them are pretty recognizable or easy to find, but the one that everyone seems to quote ("Your name is a golden bell hung in my heart" etc.) ( Read more... )
