Thinking about below, I suppose the only pro active thing I could do was see if in the download pages at Oink or IT there was some info on how one could go about getting a legal artist-supporting copy of the CD. Anyone out there a member of either and want to make sure that the info is there?

I don't like filesharing. I recently subscribed to the emusic service which lets me download 40 songs per month for $9.99 and I feel guilty about that. I want to know that the artists get paid at least what they would get paid if I bought the CD ( Read more... )

About once a week when I get my lunchtime coffee someone takes my drink. Today it was the seasonal eggnog latte. As I waited for it to be made the girl behind me in the queue finished ordering, walked up to the coffee delivery area and reached out and grabbed the eggnog latte from the barrista's hand before I even registered what had happened. It was a crazy weekend - I got up bright and early on Saturday hoping the mail would come early with the application pack that I needed to send that day if it was to get to the registration center by today. I really tempted fate with that last post and wouldn't you know it, on Friday night/Saturday morning my neighbors must have gone on a drug binge because they listened to techno, louder than ever, from midnight until 10am.
