I finished the stitching for my sister's gift a couple of days ago and just now found the time to post a photo.  It just needs a frame and it's all done!

So, despite the need to really get some Christmas presents finished, I haven't had time for much stitching lately. Finally, though, on Saturday I helped to finish a project that has been near and dear to my heart.

I have FINALLY finished my Basket of Biscornu!!  I started it July 2010 with the first piece, a leukemia ribbon beauty for James, and I just finished the last one.  It really should have been finished in June, but work got insane over the summer and due to having to bring work home on occasion, all my stitching suffered the sad fate of being set ( Read more... )

I made these for James' cousin's daughter.  She's five years old and probably would have preferred some toys, but she certainly got plenty of those at her party yesterday!  At least this is something she can love forever.  I think I'll need to make them for myself next.  :D

Found out last night from my youngest sister that my other sister is pregnant again.  Despite saying she's through with her idiot "husband", it seems they've stayed rather close.  She also said she was so strapped for money with just Logynn around, so not sure how she's going to make this work.
