Well I'll be doggone. Taking action when you've been shafted by a company actually works! It's not quite that simple, of course, but something good came out of the aftermath of the second big incident in the last entry. I've been a little remiss in sharing this, but better late than never.

It's been a minute
Well, it's definitely been a while. That means the brief version is probably in order all in all, along with some quick thoughts on a variety of things - although this won't be too brief.

Reflecting on the historical day
Tuesday was quite a day. The historical part of it doesn't bear repeating because we all know what it was, and in all honesty there's not much for me to say about it from my end. So I spent a good portion of the last day of 2008 in the media room at Boston College after the game. I figured I'd let the snowstorm die down a little before finally going home, in part to let traffic subside. A historic day
Something felt different this morning as I awakened. It might sound cliche or the reason may seem obvious, but just hours earlier the stimulus for that reaction was in place, even if I was slow on the uptake.

I can just imagine the cries of Republican supporters elsewhere about how the media is once again going out in support of a Democrat with this. But facts are facts.

I'm convinced...
...that men and women are simply incompatible. The "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" thing makes more sense to me now than ever - and it's not like I ever considered that a foreign concept, either.
