Today on the way in to work, I noticed something on a tree in the courtyard that resembled a leech, only it was fuzzy in a very gerbil-esque way. Looking around, I saw 5 or 6 more of them. Strategically placed... I think they are a crack commando unit of tree-assassin gerbil-leeches.

I'm an Auntie!!! Friday, my brother and his wife birthed a beautiful 8 pound 10 ounce baby boy! I'm going to meet the newest member of the family next weekend. I'm excited about it. I could hear him crying on the phone, and he sounded so... NEWBORN. That mewling little wail that's half human, half kitten, and so beautiful it makes you cry ( Read more... )
