Moved!
I'm finally back after not having online access for over a week. That's a long time in internet years. The good news is that we got moved! Warner was able to have 4 other guys take the day off work to help and they moved nearly everything in one day. We gave up on cleaning and hired a lady. Today I barely survived a full-on assault by a rabid, half-crazed mouse in my office. If it were not for the flailing and screaming and leaping onto office furniture, I may not have made it. It was last seen dodging into my supervisor’s office, but make no mistake, that mouse is going down. And I'll be in my car when it does. *shudder*

Are we there yet?
Tomorrow is my last day of the current job. My last day with students was today and though everyone expected me to be sad and weepy, I just couldn't give them what they wanted. I am so ready to move on, which I feel a tiny bit guilty about. I think that it doesn't help that I have been working a lot of over time to finish all of my quarterly ( Read more... ) -
Anniversary
Today is Warner's and my 8th anniversary. As cliché as it sounds, I love him more each year. It has been a hell of a year but we have made it through relatively unscathed. We made it through that time without renters and managed not to get out Hawaii house foreclosed on, we just refinanced the house, which will save us a bit of money, I just got ( Read more... ) -
Baking Fool
Last night I was up until 2 AM baking for our Boys and Girls Club bake sale today. I had planned to be out of town this weekend, so I told them I would contribute some baked goods, then promptly bit off more than I could chew. Quick notes
I have 25 minutes before I have to wake Warner up for watch, so I thought I would make a quick post. Today was my first class day with my new group of preschoolers. I have a great group, if a little lopsided. I have 16 boys and 3 girls, 15 of them with special needs. It's going to be challenging year. I also decided to stick with the 2nd job ( Read more... ) -

Easily amused.
I just made Warner change my name on his brand new phone. It used to say "Call from Heidi Ice.", which was funny, but now it loudly declares in a pleasent female robotic voice for all to hear, "Call from Hot Sexy Mama." HAHAHA! Yeah, I'm 12. -

Today I had the pleasure of attending an all day training on an exercise program we will be implementing in our summer program very shortly. None of us knew much about it, only we should dress down as we were going to be practicing some of the activities and with some of the equipment we will be using.
