Sunday was a wonderfully sunny day. In the morning, I went with Herr Fritz to church downtown. We went to the main church in Schiller Platz (there is already a picture from it, I think). As today was saturday, I had the day off of school. I took the day to explore around Stuttgart. My first stop, via the U6, was Charlotten Platz and the House of History (Haus der Geschichte). Today was not quite as exciting as the past few days. School was fine. I only had registration (homeroom), which was student body elections assembly today. The rest of the day I was free because MF, my mentor teacher, has to be gone every other friday to do her masters program in a neighboring city. Today was my second day at the school. I decided I would ride my bike to school today since I found the correct bike path yesterday. That made the trip much faster, 10 minutes, although I still might need to give myself more time since I then need to change when I get to school (out of jeans into a skirt/slacks). I'm in the seattle airport and amazed that I have internet.. free!!!

So far the trip is going well. I sat next to a gentleman who works for Whitworth, soliciting money from donors. It was quite enjoyable!

Thus begins my travels. My flight leaves in 3 hours. Thank you all for praying for me and thinking of me. It means a lot to know so many people care.

I am now 4 days away from departure. I have 18 hours of class left, a lot of packing, a lot of shopping, and a lot of panic lefte before I leave. There's just far too much to get done!
