Sneak Preview - Top or the World - Moab Utah
My truck on TOP OF THE WORD, overlooking Moab Utah. Was a long, tough climb to get their, and on the way down, I cut the sidewall of a tire on a very sharp rock. The best laid plans of mice and men....
The plans were all set, leave 7am Friday, destination Nipigon, Ontario, Canada. A bunch of us from the LAnd Rover crew were going to meet up, do some camping, do some wheeling, some awesome waterfalls to photograph, get some fishing in. We were even invited to be in a parade! How to destroy a land rover - or - the quickest way down a mountain
Last weekend one of our group inadvertently found the quickest way down a mountain with their Land Rover. The mountain was very steep, very rocky and slippery, with 5 switchbacks to get to the top. Who saw the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony on TV?
Keith Richards inducted the Ronnettes into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in her acceptance speech, Ronnie Spector rambled, giggled to herself for no reason, backtracked and re-read parts of her speech, and made Keith look succinct, coherent, and downright erudite by comparison! Surgery 1 week out
Feeling pretty good these days, good enough so that I went back to work Monday and today for half a day each. Was a bit tired, and am getting caught up but it isn't so bad.
