The surgery went very smoothly, and I am in my room now. Supposed to get discharged tomorrow, into a raging snowstorm. Have to see how that works. More later

Went to the doctor this morning and had another EKG, and after consulting with the hospital, ?I am set for my surgery tomorrow morning at 10:30! I have to be there by 8:30.

Look for an update when I get home, either Wednesday evening or Thursday sometime!

I had a phone call from the hospital admitting nurse yesterday, telling me that there was a slight abnormality with my EKG, and that they may not be able to do the surgery Tuesday. They require an EKG that was taken within 30 days of surgery, and mine was done back in November. So, I have an appointment Monday morning at 9:45 to have another EKG, ( Read more... )

Sorry it's been so long, lots going on but I haven't taken the time to sit down and write entries. Back in november I decided to talk to my doctor about the possibility of gastric bypass surgery. He referred me to a surgeon and I started on this journey that I am on now. The process for approval includes attending an informational seminar, ( Read more... )
