Hugh and I went and saw a great movie the night before last - It was on at the little independent cinema in Murwillumbah - ($7.50 all sessions AND you can order pizza from their cafe and they will bring it to you in the movie). I set up our brand new worm farm yesterday... I hope the wormies like their new home. Has to be better than the plastic bag they were living in at Bunnings... All that coconut husk and semi rotten vegetables and wet newspaper and coffee grounds... Mmm mmm mmm... Sounds like worm heaven.

well we are all moved - after an exceptional effort (even if I do say so myself) we were almost totally moved in 1 day and had about 50% of or stuff unpacked again... We had been in the new place for not even 10 minutes and I managed to break a window. I have never broken a window. Ever. In my life. Why did I have to break the first window we've ever owned (excluding car windows of course)?? Bum.

we had partial success at the tender center - we were successful on our bid for the kitchen dresser - but we were unsuccessful on our bid for the wine barrel... Oh well - 1 out of 2 isn't bad for a first attempt!

Only 2 more hours 'till settlement - yeeha!

We had our maiden tender center voyage yesterday - I had never been before but we decided to pop in for a look around on our way to see the conveyancer. They had SO much cool stuff! It's like 3D ebay! We bid on a kitchen dresser and a wine barrel. Tenders close 3pm tomorrow and we should know the results but 6pm tomorrow - fingers crossed! It ( Read more... )
