Two days. TWO DAYS!
Good news y'all. I have my voice back. Now I must run away, and do many important things, like bathe and take John's shirt to the dry cleaner, and pick up the flowers, and go to the grocery store. -
Three Days - I lost my voice!
I've had a little tickle in my throat for the past couple of days. Had a slight cough last night. Woke up this morning with a hacking cough, a throat like raw hamburger and NO VOICE. Four Days - OMG HELP ME!
I have so much stuff to do, I've drawn up a schedule of my last four days, and whoa baby I had no idea I had such a long to-do list stored in my brain. ugh. I finally figured out the guestbook. Got the marriage license today.
I felt a little tingle of excitement when they asked us to raise our right hands. I think that's a good sign.

Twelve Days
I tried on my dress yesterday. My grandma came over so she could shorten the straps for me. I was sooo nervous, I hadn't tried it on since I picked it up and found out that I'm a fucking fatass. Fifteen days
So much still to do for the wedding. I've put off doing the guestbook (naughty naughty)--but!--I've come up with the perfct format. I bought a pretty 8.5 x 8.5 scrapbook on sale and I was going to buy lined paper and have everyone sign that. sixteen days, four inches
I had a good holiday. It was the first independance day that I have not worked in three years. I did the whole "metro from Vienna to Greenbelt" thing Tuesday evening, which was quite nice. Lot's of knitting was done. Though they didn't have the AC on on the Orange, and it was HOT.

Frivolity
My bridal shower last Saturday went really well. My mom and Audrey did a great job planning everything and the people who came were so generous! I got some really nice things, oddly enough I recieved very few things that I registered for. But it was really nice to recieve frivolous things instead of practical things.

Finally did what I promised John I would do: bought a desktop PC. I AM SO EXCITED! For those who may be interested in exactly what I got, click here and here.
