CJ IS GAINING ON YOU, FLUFFEH. B-)
Sunday I got an asskicking sunburn, because I foolishly thought I was safe wearing a tank top at 10am. OUCH. Aloe vera gel with lydocaine does relatively nothing but make your skin tacky so your clothes stick to it and pull on the burned parts. >:o
My brother had back surgery yesterday to remove large bone shards poking and damaging some nerves in his lower back and ass, fuse his bottom few vertebrae together because they healed weirdly, and to take out one of the metal contraptions left in his hips/pelvis/back from his car accident in October 2005. Tonight, they had trouble getting the drain(?) out of his back, so he has to have another operation tomorrow to unstick that. He is being a severe dildo, and my mom wants to smother him with a pillow. She just left to go back to the hospital to visit him, because he called her ranting that the nurses were conspiring against him and were going to kick him out. He was absolutely sure. (The same way he was absolutely sure I maliciously stole his antibiotics this weekend. Accusing over and over, in between threats he must see as reasonable conclusions to this thievery.)
That said, my mom believes that the increasingly psychotic behavior is a sign of paranoid schizophrenia.
Since the car accident, he gets totally paranoid about some random people coming into the backyard to murder our pet ducks and that sort of thing, and obsessing over it to the point of going out in the middle of the night to bring them in the house. He's always got something to say about the way people are doing things, and rants about nonsense to no end. It would be nice if they could do a psych evaluation while he's trapped in bed. :|
During all of this, my father has been down in Florida visiting his parents, the sneaky abandoner. I love seeing my mother get stuck with everything during a time like this. He was supposed to come home today, but no one has heard from him because he is too cheap to use a pay phone, and doesn't believe in cell phones. Gotta love flying standby.
In less aggravating news, uh . . .
I may have a job. :P The HR lady called me today at 4:30, maybe five minutes after I went outside to keep an eye on the ducks while I had lunch, and by the time I got the message it was after hours. So we're playing phone tag. I was
almost in an accident right before my interview, also, which was exciting. My nerves loved that, when I was already stressed out about an imminent interview. At least there was no neck-breaking in my heels.
