I quite like Will Gompertz's blog on the BBC. It's quite interesting and he sometimes has an alternative viewpoint which he isn't afraid to air. Picture the scene. It's Glasgow Central, it's busy, and the train's in 5 minutes. There are queues a mile long at both the ticket office manned by one semi literate YTS reject, and the world's clunkiest ticket machine. Prog - the genre for procrastinators
I'm thinking, I fancy some rock. I'm also fancying relaxing with a bit of classical. That's OK because I'm a prog fan, meaning a quick trip to the second collection next door results in Peter Gabriel's Scratch My Back (on vinyl no less) and Steve Hackett's marvelous interpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Prog. For when one genre is not enough. -
My mouse has paint on it
I was wearing my Maryhill Art School t-shirt at the weekend, and zantic commented that it was probably the only t-shirt I now own that doesn't have some sort of paint spatter on it. Ironically, she's probably right. But it's more the computer that gets me. Both the monitor and the keyboard have signs of being in a studio now, and the mouse is positively ( Read more... )
