Washing Bodices that I paid just way to much for
I have a couple of bodices from Fantasia and I want to put them away clean. In past years I might have just used Frabreeze on my bodices I made myself but these I want to last a very long time. So how should I do it? I've heard of letting them soak in the tube with cold water and a mild soap and then rinsing them out extremely well. -
It's been awhile
I haven't been on LJ for quite awhile. But them my eyes get sore if I spend too much time on the computer. I will be going in on Tuesday to have my medi-port taken out. That way I won't have my monthly port flush appts and if they need to they can always to a new one in. I am get by. Hope to be at MDRF tomorrow. -

New glasses
When I found an optometrist who said he could write me a prescription for glasses that would make my eyes work together I was thrilled. Not completely sure how prisms worked I waited until the glasses came to make up my mind. Bummed out again
Every since I got the remission note, I've been so tired and bummed out. I've done some glass, which turned out to be great. I had planned to have it at Faire today but both Bill and I are under the weather and decided to stay home. I don't have the strength to do a craft fair right now but I may apply for a Christmas show, we need the money! I' ( Read more... ) -
I AM IN REMISSION!!!!!!
Bill and I went to the oncologist yesterday. She said that all of the test result indicated that the cancer is at bay for now. I can stop my weekly blood tests, I need to continue taking the anti-biotic because my white cell count is a bit low but I can stop taking all the other pills!!! Wig or NO wig
' Wig or NO wig', that was the question. I've decided on no wig. I've been "bald and beautifull for months now and I have several wide brim hats I can wear to protect the bald noggin so I've decided not to even buy those little wisps of hair (stuck on with double sided tap) to make it look like I have sideburns, or a half wig that would make it ( Read more... ) -

Hoping to get back into the job market in a few months (pending results of upcoming tests) I am looking at a few classes that might be good to take to brush my skills with for Word, Excel and PowerPoint,. Last chemo was yesterday
My last out patient chemo was yesterday. Tired from it all but happy it is over. I go back for an MRI and a lumbar puncture in early Sept. I know this won't kill me but is not curable, but I just hope it gives me a break of about 10 years before it comes back. It's been 8 months and I am so very tired of it.
