Quint talks to someone about having to fight people who used to be allies.
Einie's in the Nexus injured, again. Poor dog always had rotten luck.
Red Mage tries to unbrainbreak Black Mage.
Punk and Ballade almost have a chance to get in a fight, but Ballade can't find Merodi to get Punk's helmet back in time and they miss it.
August 2
The Nexus gains another alternate of Rock, prompting the three RKNs present to be less than welcoming. Even Quint gets caught up in it, showing that some habits are hard to break.
Later, Quint tries to start a pillow fight in the Nexus.
Someone asks what a harem is. Quint gives a dictionary definition rather than willingly go into any detail, since the questioner is a child.

Cartoonverse!Proto is metool hunting, after more teleporters. Quint is easily convinced to bring him some of the devices.
A string of odd questions, and Merodi's presence, gets Ballade's attention.
And Quint goes to visit Leader-1.

Quint can no longer get back to the odd little pocket dimension he'd been living in with the sane alt of Wily. He initially blames this on some kind of glitch.
NiGHTs makes its first appearance in the Nexus. (No WW charas here, stuck partly as a note)

Ballade talks to someone about pranks, and sees Merodi again. (The thread also contains an instance of me making an OOC comment and forgetting to put it in (()), and then just saying the heck with it and doing a meta/rp thread with my RL journal. XD But I did have a dream once years ago about jack in the boxes that cut peoples' heads off. O.O I also went ahead and responded with my RL journal just for the heck of it. It's rare for me to do something like that, and I'd remember the darned (()) these days. -_-; ))
Quint still can't get home, and ends up staying with Leader-1 for a while. He asks about safer ideas for sparring practice so they'll have something to do.
Nana's in the Nexus. Unfortunately, Quint doesn't see her this time. (This post also shows one of the two main reasons I think anonymous comments should be banned from Sages.)

Quint answers a question, but soon finds someone else in the Nexus to avoid.
Then Quint sees the younger Kalinka again. She's getting irritated at her brothers watching her constantly. He offers to come visit again, only to find he's no longer welcome there.
Quint then returns to Unicron's deactivated head, where he's been staying with Leader-1. Unfortunately, the two of them get in a fight. Quint loses control and comes close to killing the Minicon. a communication from Cole distracts him from the fight, and after Leader-1 leaves he splits as well. He ends up spending the night on Charr.
And Kaa is hungry.

The inevitable happens. With two of his brothers in the Nexus, people he thought he could trust suddenly shunning him for being a Wilybot, not being able to get back 'home', and everything else that's happened to him recently, Quint just can't take having nowhere he really belongs. He wants to return to the Castle, but doesn't... Something he still can't place is bothering him.
Cole seems to want him to stay with her, and he decides to give it a try so that he doesn't impose on the Decepticons too much.

The Potterverse!Sorting Hat appears in the Nexus, although no explanation is given for why it's sorting Muggles. Just another Nexus Thing when it decides Quint belongs in Hufflepuff. ( Ballade and Punk never get sorted, as the Hat quits answering.)
Quint and Leader-1 have a talk when Quint stops at one of his Nexus hiding places to pick up some stuff. Leader-1 still can't quite believe Quint would have killed him.

Quint and Leader-1 chat about the recent Minicons in the Nexus and the latest Zero alt. This leads to Quint asking a few questions in the Nexus, but he doesn't get any answers.
Quint meets a very strange boy, an angel, and someone else. The last conversation confuses him and gives him something to think about.
Eva stumbles into the Nexus hurt. Ballade thinks she should have been wearing a helmet.

Punk answers a question.
Quint sees the skinny boy again, and listens in to a question about funny uses for superpowers. Then he talks to Einie about precognition. (which marks the first time Quint ICly admits to it, despite months of nightmares and feelings of impending doom hinting at it. ;) )
One of the Cybertronians plans to open a bar. Quint takes interest in case this might be a possible place to get e-tanks.

Punk encounters an anthropomorphic personification of War. Of course she knows his name.
Quint has some ice cream, and talks about wierd time problems.

Quint has a job for a while, another place to stay (briefly), and more training in mind...
A Sentinel in the Nexus causes a great deal of amusement for Ballade and Punk, especially after Ballade finds out its designation. Punk also finds out that Quint has been playing up the effects of the No Violence Field in an attempt to get him and Ballade to behave.
Eva's back again, and Ballade stops to chat.
Quint sees NiGHTs again, and they talk about video games. He also talks to some children about whether a storybook could be true, and finds out that small furry dragons really like chocolate.
A swarm of alternate Robot Masters show up, but Quint finds them vaguely disturbing.
When Quint returns to where he's been staying with Cole, he finds she's put up a new sign to open her repair shop for buisness. He also plays fetch with FANGZ. (The second entry has now been made private and can't be accessed even with Quint's journal. 9.9 )

The younger Kalinka asks a question in the Nexus. Punk finds it amusing that her family pretty much kicked Quint out on the curb once they didn't have a use for him any more.
A wandering trader passes through the Nexus. Ballade finds some CDs he likes.

Quint answers a question about being normal.
There's a Rose Nolan in the Nexus. She mistakes Punk for a little girl, which Ballade finds very funny. Ballade also likes her stories.
Punk, however, isn't in a good mood. Not only does the No Violence Field keep him from attacking Rose when she suggests he might need a push up bra, but he keeps getting mistaken for female without his helmet. Ballade is very amused, and tries to find Punk a push up bra.
Someone in the Nexus gives out gifts, and Quint decides he'd best find out more about those video games he's heard of in case they might show something that could be dangerous for Ballade.
The comedy crackverse Robot Masters are back again, this time a Crystalman who keeps making a lot of bad sexual innuendo. Quint leaves with Leader-1 rather than have to deal with them, as they disturb him. When they return to the Nexus to grab the video games Quint had been given, they end up seeing a Dr. Wily. Quint hopes it's the one from that universe.
Quint and Leader-1 play through the fourth Gameboy game and find out that it does show Ballade helping Mega escape - posibly a very bad thing for Ballade.
After all that, Quint asks a question in the Nexus about how to deal with alternates that just generally disturb you. It nearly turns into a fight when all the crackverse Robot Masters swarm the thread to be jackasses. (Given who the muns were in this instance I still believe the pups in question were created mainly to harrass and showed very little IC/OOC division. I had to actually e-mail the mods in this case. 9.9 )

When an Earthworm Jim brings a weapon called the 'love-gun' into the Nexus, chaos soon follows. Quint ends up LOLed into a chibi, Ballade turns sparkly and excessively huggy, and Punk - unaffected - is ready to kill them both if he can't find a way to change them back.

Quint's already starting to have second thoughts about the kidnapping plan, but looks around the Nexus anyway to see if he can find anyone who could help remove Wily's version of the Laws from Ballade and Punk. He doesn't find anyone he trust to help, though he does end up meeting a version of Gate.

Quick is let out of the Gallery. He visits the Nexus to ask for ways to get Crash or Metal let out as well.
Quint sees some cyborg animals, and chats with Elf!X.

Quint can't go through with kidnapping Punk and Ballade, and hasn't yet thought of a way to derail or at least reduce the damage from the future he's been having nightmares about. Unfortunately, an idiotically rude Tenguman alt causes Quint to blank out and he ends up fighting Punk. Steadfast ends up knocking him out so he can be taken for repairs, and Quick gets really confused after seeing part of the fight and noticing that it looked like Quint was winning.
August 30
The fight the day before prompts a question from Quick.
Ballade's still locked up. Merodi is seen briefly, and then Steadfast visits and Quint decides putting Ballade in the CR at Waspinator's might help.
Quint also sees another alternate of X.

Quint plans a party, and gets fanboyed. He talks to the boy again when he shows up crying, and also talks again to the other X. But during the conversation he has a bad feeling something's wrong and runs off.
As it turns out, he's right. He finds Nana, but she's badly injured. Despite attempts to get help, Nana dies soon afterwards.
