My mother is a fantastic cook.  She uses the best ingredients, has the best ideas.  EVER.  She's so good that the standard around our house at any restaurant meal is - Does this taste almost as good as Mom' makes it?

I finished the book in one weekend because it was a quick enough read, but uhhh I dont' understand what is going on.  I found it rather impenetrable and very distant.

Everybody knows - and if you don't know, this is me telling you right now - that the best lip balm ever ever is the Uriage Stick Levres.  It's really the best one.  The thing is, it's flavorless, scentless, and no tinting, so it's more like base moisturizer for my lips than anything else.

I watched Die Valkyre for the first time yesterday, and now I understand why people go totally insane over Wagner.

I saw myself in it.  That opera is about me.  I suppose lots of people feel this way, about different elements of it.
