The situation with Mum's Personal Care Assistant (PCA) has deteriorated even further. I'm to the point that I can't even stay in the same room with the woman without fantasizing about violence. As most of you know, I’ve been staying in the UK on a Student Visa. There was a lot of drama involved in getting that visa, securing a place at the University of Dundee and then keeping my studies funded yet I managed, with the help of a fantastic group of supportive people, to push through and graduate last June with my Masters in English. The cheeky cat...
On my way back from the corner market this morning I found something unusual. Peeking out of a basement air-shaft was a scrawny young cat. I spoke to it softly and she popped out for some scritches quickly enough but I could tell she was starved as her hip bones were totally hollow. I sat my exam yesterday and that means provided I pass, Uni is pretty much done other than graduation in June. I have an annoyingly painful sinus infection and yet I am jetting off for adventures in Glasgow. You can keep tabs by checking my twitter feed occasionally, my user name is Pyris. Uni is eating everything I'd like to be working on alive. This isn't an unusual occurrence but it is chaffing me at the moment. For instance, I wanted to get up today and spend a couple hours advancing FtLoF and then turn my attention to an editing project as the author has been very patient with my snails pace so far.
