A massive fireworks display was just a few blocks from us this evening. My little doggie warrior was CERTAIN we were under attack. This time she did not cower. I am NOT old enough to be a grandparent. So I find it quite amazing that my grandson turned one year old yesterday. It is further amazing that he completely stole my heart over a year ago. And yet, he has no idea who I am yet. -

Rejected
I guess it didn't matter that the guy from the publisher came to ME and asked me to send him a manuscript. "It's a good sign" means nothing. I got an email today saying the manuscript was rejected. Apparently there are two reasons why: 1) the market is tight right now, so they're not willing to venture into a genre that isn't in their mainstream ( Read more... ) -
