Today Avon and I spent nearly 3 hours in a fabric store finding juuuust the right fabric to make our Halloween costumes. Got 5 different types of fabric and 3 patterns. Came to $75. I try not to regret anything in my life because every decision made was a step on the path to where I am now, and I am happy now. ... Not to say I never had to backtrack and try a different fork in the road, but I can see how the bad times pushed me toward my current position.

Thoughts on health.
In recent months I have been trying to increase my overall health. What I have learned is that being healthy takes a lot more work and creativity than being an unhealthy blob. This may seem obvious, but it is the requirement of creativity that has really been the curve ball for me.

I am having much sympathy for those with Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) right now, because I am starting to have my mood influenced quite a bit by this constant rain. Writer's Block: Busting Blocks
I went to see the Transformer movie. It was so good that I will be renting the 1st one. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was pretty well made and most of the actors were pretty believable. The action was hard to follow, but that is part of watching an action flick where the principle fighters are all made of metal.

I drive when I could take public transportation for the convenience and the freedom, plus I love my big white boat.
I take long showers each and every time I shower. It is a 1/2 hour to 45 mins that I get to entirely focus on myself, relax under very hot water and feel refreshed. I will not easily give that up to save some water when I live in New ( Read more... ) -
