I was watching Laguna Beach last night and it was the finale. I often wonder why movie writers and directors feel the need to have their actors use accents when they aren't very good at them. Does it really add to a movie when the person can't stay in character with their accent the entire movie? Wouldn't it be JUST as effective if they didn't have the accent? Do you ever look at your day to day life and realize how many staples you have in it? When I look at mine I have a place that I almost always choose to eat at first when I am at home, sure, there are only 5 places to eat but still I pick that place over the other 4 every time!
