Just showed the apartment to a lady that might take it. I've shown it to several people over the last four days and have gotten a good bullshit sensor going. Felicia is looking at a possible divorce so she wants something short-term. Her own space close to her work at the University. A Different Pace
This week has been pretty busy. Already got a few responses on the lease so the most important task may be completed it the next few days. Number Two is also done as I have a buyer for the car. Step 1 Done, 10000 More Steps to Go
Decided to go with a room in a neighborhood of Brooklyn called Bushwick… I have a New York address! Need to head downtown to a bank for the initial money. After all this I'm taking the rest of the day off. Going to see Terminator then take AndrewFashion out to dinner for his birthday.

No One Else Around
Paid extra for some vibrant flowers while picking up groceries. Normally carnations are enough but these caught my eye. The checker made the usual assumption, saying something like, “Those will make someone happy.” Yeah. Me. -
Rusty
Yikes! Just got out of my first interview in over a decade and it sure showed. Well, I can ooze charm and charisma when necessary so I fell back on that. Yet inside I was a nervous wreck after two minutes. Even started sweating ( Read more... ) -

So drained yet it was worthwhile. Turns out the excessive crowd chatter was a lesson of sorts. There were other people that felt as I did… all the sharing was de-railing what they were there for. The afternoon session mapped out the “Soul side” of things. I expected this to be a lot more involved yet it turned to much more direct. In fact, I feel like things got very distracted with a sharing period. Neale did catch a few people trying to react, telling them this wasn't an encounter group.
