So ever since discovering Schitt's Creek Twitter (and fanfic), I've been super active there. When everyone was panicking about Twitter going down, I decided to start using Tumblr.

Picking an orange or yellow
I know I haven't written since Penny died. It's been incredibly hard. We're still crying about her. I cried at the salon today when I was telling my stylist about all the changes that have been happening with Elaine and me, which included losing Penny. It just hasn't been the same without her. It's been awhile since I last posted, so I'll try to do a quick catch up before diving into why I'm blogging. I must admit, the Zola community has become my new place to vent, so most of my stress release has been there instead of here. This is not wedding related (and Elaine does occasionally go on there), so here we are.

So much for vacation
Elaine and I were both off this entire week. I had vacation days to burn and the college is closed. As usual, we had grand plans to get shit done and as usual, very little of it happened. This time, it wasn't entirely our fault.

Wasn't me
Last night, I was in the kitchen getting myself some cherry pie. I had just refilled my water bottle and had spilled quite a bit, so I decided to turn on the overhead light because the microwave nightlight obviously wasn't enough for me to see what I was doing. Elaine was also in the kitchen and as they left, they turned the light off.
