For those of you in the know, Allan, my partner, has been going through a series of health issues, most notably skin cancer. It started out with a basil cell carcinoma on his nose that looked like a big piece of sausage on a pizza. Lovely, not. My current obsession is autobiographies. I’ve always been an avid reader, but I always bypassed this type of book. Don’t ask me why.

Back in the late 80’s, I read a few biographies, and they didn’t really do much for me. It was mostly books about singers, which is an interest of mine. I finished reading them, and never returned.

So yeah… I’m still around. I’ve been up, I’ve been down. Mostly terribly busy, and unfocussed. Far too much going on, and too little time to write about it.
