Yesterday was 72 F, t-shirt weather. It was also dog-walking weather.
The ladies and I discovered spring-like weather in February brings out the compliments from random strangers. It only lasts one day, so you have to time it perfectly.

The first person we walked past smiled, said hi and then said "pretty dogs". Yeah. We cool.

I am unclear why there isn't padding on all those steel posts on the luge run. Not that hitting a padded steel post at 80 mph is going to end well for you, but maybe he would have lived. I don't know.

All I know is that luge is incredibly dangerous and this track seems to be especially so. I prefer most of my Olympians alive. CALL ME CRAZY, I DARE

This is Mina's round-a-bout way of getting her toy back. It's very effective, though requires a long investment time. If you discover my voice is annoying, mute it (I meant to add music, but it seemed silly and then I forgot and there you have it).

I will post another video later, because I know you will WANT desperately to see how Mina gets her toy back (it's pretty boring and magical, amazing!). For now, Mina and Celeste are not as exciting as you might think they are.

Mina is leash-aggressive around other dogs. I expect it from her. She can meet small dogs, no problem, on leash. She can bully her way up to large, calm dogs, no problem. But any dog who shows an interest or yelps or barks, she takes the offensive - on leash. Off-leash, her social skills aren't much better, but she's more keen on running and ( Read more... )
