It took me about 7 nights to do, but I just completed a photo book of Colton and Daphne's first 3 months. I hope to get one for 3 - 6 months done soon and one of my pregnancy/birth. The book ended up being 50 pages long...but it completely documents three whole months of two little babies. Jay said go for it since I just don't have the time to do ( Read more... ) -

My mom already bought Colton and Daphne Christmas stockings that say "Baby's 1st Christmas", but I went out today and bought stockings for all following Christmas'. I've been searching for something online that I really liked and I ended up finding these at Target. I think they are so cute and I love that they match. I took Colton and Daphne to Coleman Photography on Monday for Christmas pictures and it was quite the outting. Daphne was very curious, interested in looking at everything. I went to the grocery store by myself. BY MYSELF! That was the first hour that I've had to myself in almost 2 months. It was either go to the store in the pouring rain with both kids or have Jay watch them. He watched them both! Granted I made sure that I didn't leave until the kids were down for their morning nap, but that's ok. The past two weeks ( Read more... ) -

Fall is definitely here! It's been in the low 50s the past couple of mornings and only high 60s during the day. I love the cool, but I know the kids aren't used to it. We got tons of hand-me-downs from my brother when Colton and Daphne were born, but unfortunately my children's speed of growth is not matching up seasonally to the clothes we have. ( Read more... ) -

I don't want to jinx myself....but the kids have only woken up for one bottle 3 days in a row now. Daphne normally wakes at 2am for a feed, that means sleeping from 7:00pm - 2:00am. Then she goes back down and will sleep until 6am-ish. Colton has been getting up around 3am for a feed and then will go back down until 5:30-ish sometimes later. ( Read more... ) -
handprints
It took me 10weeks, but I finally got Colton and Daphne's handprints and footprints done. I tried to do it at 2weeks and nearly dropped Daphne...it was just way too difficult. Both kids were really grumpy yesterday and I figured it was now or never. Better to do something that'll piss them off when they are already mad :P I think I did a good job. ( Read more... ) -
