And can I just say how much I detest that Shakira song?!?!? It was in the charts way too long.

Today I finished Ian Rankin's 'The Blood Hunt'. It's a splendid wee novel - a jolly good read! The only thing I can't understand is the title. It's the kind of title that could be given to a million other novels. There's nothing that really ties it into this novel. It definitely lacks imagination. Naff for want of a better word.

I'm at home now, and will be for the next 2 to 3 weeks, convalescing. I was in for a wee op on Tues which seems to have gone well. I'm now just letting the healing process take its course. The hospital stay was fantastic. I went private and was waited on hand and foot. The nursing staff were out of this world. OK...so the intervals between my entries have been getting longer and longer. What can i say? December was one helluva month! It always is. It's not as if Christmas ain't enough with all the parties and social stuff  but work ends up such a stress. So I made it to the concert last night AND was home in time for the X Factor result. Not bad.

Just been chillin today. I really needed to go into the office. But didn't quite make it. Will have to face the music tomorrow.  

Today's dilemma: go to Christmas carol concert OR stay in and watch the X Factor final?

What to do? What to do?   

Why do I just put up with things and fizz?    

So I've not been around for a while. No real reason. Just busy with life.
