Summary: Ueda finds himself on a bus going to who-knows-where, and his traveling partner is none other than Nishikido. Bad summary… sorry!
Warnings: Nothing really, except for some silliness and maybe some out of character… and maybe some bad grammar and misspelling.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot, but I sure wish I owned more...
Inspiration: The nice, warm and sunny weather that has been with me the last few days and the song Summer Time by NewS is also a source of inspiration kinda...
A/N:
At first I hadn't thought about updating again until this weekend, but U changed my mind cause I'm like really happy now. And that's cause of two reasons, firstly and most importantly: I meet up with one of my best friends yesterday that I haven't seen in almost a year. She's been in Japan, and is back in Sweden for a couple of weeks YAY! \(^O^)/
And the second thing that makes me so happy is that I am now a proud owner of Best Of KAT-TUN, Break The Records - by you & for you - and NEWS Color. (^o^)
So as to celebrate this I decided to update. I hope you all will enjoy this chapter, and even if it's not that long quite a lot happens in it I think… or maybe not. Anyways feel free as always to drop a comment after you've read it (^_^)

Ueda woke up the next morning a big smile playing on his face as he felt Ryo's body pressing close to his back. Ryo's hand had during the night slipped up under Ueda's shirt and was lying perfectly on his stomach. It felt right and Ueda hoped that he would be waking up liked this more times in the future. He turned around slowly in Ryo's arms to face his still fast asleep friend and in the process Ryo's hand ended up on the small of his back. As he looked at the peacefully sleeping Ryo his thoughts wandered back to Kame's suggestion - that he should just kiss Ryo and show of his true feelings. Maybe he could do that now, maybe he could wake Ryo up with a kiss and if he gets a negative reaction he can just deny it and say that Ryo must've dreamt it all. His eyes locked on Ryo's slightly open mouth and he slowly, slowly leaned in closer but when he was just millimetres away from the others lips there was a loud knock on the door.
"Ryo-tan? Ueda-kun?" a voice follows the knocking. "Are you up?"
Ueda contemplates the thought of just ignoring Tegoshi and just go on with his mission, but when the knocking got louder it woke Ryo up from his slumber.
"Morning Princess" Ryo smiled through half closed eyes.
"Morning" Ueda smiled back before he got up and walked over to the door. The knocking and shouting Tegoshi was now too loud and annoying to ignore.
"Ah, so you were awake" A smiling Tegoshi greets Ueda. "I almost thought you were still asleep when you didn't open the door directly. I was almost going to give up when you opened the door"
Tegoshi was either oblivious to the death glare Ueda was giving him, or he was just plainly ignoring it.
"What do you want?" Ryo asked getting up behind Ueda placing an arm casually around his waist.
"Ah, the others sent me here to get you. " Tegoshi kept on smiling "They're all down at breakfast and they all wanna leave for the amusement park as soon as possible."
"Amusement Park?" Ryo and Ueda asked at the same time.
"Yeah, we decided to go there last night at dinner" Tegoshi explains. "Ah, that's right you weren't with us. " A naughty grin growing on his face "Anyways, it would be nice if you guys could be ready in about an hour"
"Okay, see you in the lobby. Bye" Ryo says and slam the door in the face of Tegoshi.
When Ueda and Ryo walked out from the elevator about an hour later they were greeted by everyone's smiling faces, but either Tegoshi, Masuda, Junno or Koyama's smile is the brightest; the brightest smile in the group is Kame's. When Ueda's eyes meet Kame's he could see the question and anticipation in the younger ones eyes and Ueda felt pretty sorry that he didn't have the news Kame wants to hear. He smiles at him but shakes his head slowly to let the other know that nothing has really happened yet. Kame's smile falters a little but does not disappear as they all starts to walk out towards the cars. Ueda and Ryo ends up sharing car with Yamapi, Jin and Kame after Ryo has showed the others how to get to this place on a map.
The car drive was nice, with no teasing from Yamapi, Kame or Jin much to Ueda's delight. He was sitting behind the driver's seat, Ryo next to him and Yamapi next to Ryo. Ueda had a smile plastered on his face as he watched the landscape pass by outside the window. He was in the best of moods and unconsciously he started to sing silently to himself.
"Temaneki shiteru taiyou atsumaru hito zawameki" Ueda's singing caught the attention from everyone in the car. "Soko de mitsuketa Yeah Yeah Yeah kimi ni hitome bore All right, Toketa aisu nigirishime nagara." Ueda didn't take notice of everyone looking at him - Jin through the rarview mirror. "Chotto yaba me ni fureta shisen ga, oh yes ore wo hashiraseru, chotto ashita mo aitai kamo, Kotoshi no natsu kitai shite mo ii desho. This is the Summer Time…"
Suddenly Yamapi, Kame and Jin couldn't hold back their chuckles and that brought Ueda out from his own little world. He turned his face from the window and couldn't understand what had made his friends start laughing, well Ryo wasn't really laughing but he had a big smirk on his face.
"What?" Ueda asked looking at each one of them waiting for an explanation so that he could join in on the fun.
"You just sang Summer Time" Ryo explained still smirking. "I had no idea you even knew the lyrics to it"
"Uh, oh…" Ueda smiled shyly at getting caught doing something as silly as that. Summer Time seemed to be coming back to his mind quite a lot these past few weeks. This wasn't the first time he found himself singing that particular song by NewS and he had no idea how he had learned the lyrics to it either.
"It seems like that songs been stuck with me for a time now" Ueda said and turned back to face the window. "I have no idea why though"
He felt Ryo lean in to him and whispered in his ear. "I think it's cute"
Ueda twirled his head around in a swift motion almost knocking into Ryo's head and stared at the Osaka man. Had Ryo just given him a straight out compliment?
"What did you just say?" Ueda whispered back, fully aware of that even if he and Ryo were whispering the others in the car was most likely still able to hear them.
"Nothing" Ryo grinned and turned his head towards Jin in the front seat. "Turn left straight over there; we should be able to see the park soon."
They had been running around, disguised with sunglasses and hats (they didn't want to take the risk of being recognized as the chance for that at a place like this would be pretty big) and tried a few of the many rides in the park for about 1 hour and a half when Ryo suddenly grabbed a hold of Ueda's arm and pulled him away from others. Their friends were on their way to the big rollercoaster and didn't take notice of the couple at all.
"What are you doing?" Ueda asked surprised and a bit annoyed. He really wanted to try the rollercoaster.
"You'll see" Ryo smiled over his shoulder as he continued to drag Ueda with him in the opposite direction of the others.
"But I really want to try the rollercoaster" Ueda protested but didn't make any effort of getting free from Ryo.
"We'll go on that later." Ryo answered. "We have the whole day"
"But can't we do whatever you've planed later?" Ueda asked almost crashing into Ryo as the other had suddenly stopped in front of another ride.
"I wanna go on this. I've never done it before." Ryo said and motioned with his head at the ride they were standing in front.
"The love tunnel?" Ueda asked his eyes widening in surprise. "But that's for couples in love, right?"
"So?" Ryo smiled and grabbed a hold of Ueda's hand, intertwining their fingers. "It'll be fun I promise"
"Oh, okay…" Ueda didn't know what to say. Was this Ryo's way of confessing to him?
"Good, let's go" Ryo said and dragged Ueda to the entrance of the ride and soon Ueda found himself in a small boat next to Ryo.
The boat was moving at a slow pace and everywhere they looked there were hearts, cupids, roses and other romantic things decorating the tunnel. In the background soft music played on piano was playing completing the "romantic" atmosphere. Ueda felt kind of awkward being in a place like this but Ryo didn't seem bothered at all for some reason, which completely baffled Ueda. He thought that Ryo of all people would despise being in a situation or place like this. In the middle of the ride Ueda suddenly felt Ryo placing his arm around his shoulder and pulling him in closer. Ueda turned his head to face Ryo who had a soft smile playing on his lips. Their eyes locked and after a few seconds Ueda saw how Ryo leaned his face in closer as if initiating a kiss. Ueda's heart started to beat faster and faster and started to lean in as well closing his eyes in the process. Just when Ueda thought that he was going to feel Ryo's lips on his own an annoying sound started ringing around them. They both opened their eyes and Ueda realized that they had been just a millimeter away from touching.
"Fucking shit" Ryo cursed as he released his arm from around Ueda's shoulder and pulled out his cell phone from his pocket.
Ueda looked the other way and started to feel a slight blush creep up on his cheeks. They had almost kissed, and once again got interrupted. He sighed; well at least he could now be sure that Ryo liked him.
"What the fuck man?" Ryo growled into the phone, he was clearly annoyed by the one on the other line. "I'm with princess yeah. We just went to get something to drink." Ryo lied, well Ueda didn't really expect him to let anybody know that they were in the love tunnel and he was happy for that since it's kind of embarrassing, isn't it?
"We'll be back in a moment. Bye!" Ryo finished his phone call just as they reached the end of the tunnel. He turned his head towards Ueda and smiled while taking his hand softly in his and squeezing it. Ueda was happy that the second almost kiss hadn't killed their comfortable atmosphere.
"Why didn't you guys tell us that you left for drinks?" Yamapi asked once Ryo and Ueda had found their way back to the group.
"And where are the drinks?" Jin added as he and the others noticed that the couple was empty handed, well except for the facts that they were still holding hands. Ueda had tried to pull his hand away from Ryo just before they reached their friends, as to avoid attention but Ryo had just made his grip on Ueda's hand stronger.
"We've already finished them, baka" Ryo said rolling his eyes at what he thought was a stupid question coming from his friends.
"Oi, don't call me baka!" Jin complained. "It was a very good question"
"Whatever" Ryo smirked, "So what are we doing now? I take it you guys already went on the rollercoaster"
Ryo's attempt to change the subject had been a success and after a long discussion, (almost 5 minutes) they finally agreed on getting something to eat much to Jin, Yamapi and Massuda's joy. The group split into two though since not everybody wanted the same. Ryo and Ueda got with Yamapi, Jin, Kame and Nakamaru to go and get yakitori. Ryo didn't let go of Ueda's hand once, not even when they had ordered and sat down on a close by picnic table.
"How do you think I'll be able to eat?" Ueda asked as he tried to get his right hand free from Ryo.
"Huh?" Ryo asked dumbfounded as he looked up from his own food that he had started eating.
"Without my right hand free I won't be able to eat" Ueda said not aware that by now everybody else had arrived and was watching their interaction.
"Oh, I guess I'll have to feed you" Ryo shrugged and leaned in to take some of Ueda's food with his chopsticks.
"What?" Ueda (and the rest around the table) said shocked, his jaw falling down making it a perfect opportunity for Ryo to put some food in.
"I said I'll just have to feed you" Ryo said as he placed his hand underneath Ueda's jaw and pushed it carefully upwards to close the mouth of the other.
"But isn't it easier to just let go of his hand?" Jin butted in amusement ringing in his voice and that's when Ueda realized that they weren't alone and felt his cheeks turn pink.
"Mind your own business fat-ass" Ryo snapped back, clearly annoyed at his friend.
"Hey! I'm not fat!" Jin said offended and then turned to his boyfriend. "Kazu-chan, I'm not fat right?"
"No, of course not" Kame reassured Jin and shot Ryo a half hearted death glare, just to make Jin happy.
"Ha!" Ryo snorted and then turned his attention back to Ueda "How did it taste?"
"Great" Ueda said smiling slightly. "But can you please let go of my hand? I would really feel more comfortable feeding myself" He gave Ryo a look full of caution, not wanting to make the other feel offended or mad. Ryo looked at him with a blank stare for a moment before he slowly let go of the hand without a word slipping of his tongue.
"Thanks" Ueda said softly, picking up his own chopsticks and started eating. He glanced over at Kame and their eyes locked for a second, they made a silent appointment for some talking later. Ueda then glanced over at Ryo who still was quiet as a mouse; he had clearly been hurt or at least offended. Ueda heaved out a big sigh, dropped his chopstick on the table and took a hold of Ryo's hand. Ryo looked over at Ueda with a confused look and was about to say something but seemed to change his mind and smiled instead. Ueda smiled back before he opened his mouth slightly inviting Ryo to feed him, they both ignored the grins and the snickering that came from their friends.

Ueda then glanced over at Ryo who still was quiet as a mouse; he had clearly been hurt or at least offended. Ueda heaved out a big sigh, dropped his chopstick on the table and took a hold of Ryo's hand. Ryo looked over at Ueda with a confused look and was about to say something but seemed to change his mind and smiled instead. Ueda smiled back before he opened his mouth slightly inviting Ryo to feed him, they both ignored the grins and the snickering that came from their friends.
