Sadness and contemplation
You know, I get tired of calling the docs every time something hurts. They get tired of it, too. So some time ago, I stopped doing it. I stopped going to the ER when I should (most diabetics would have called an ambulance some of those times), I stopped reporting symptoms unless they didn't make sense with what I've already been diagnosed with, ( Read more... ) -
Okay, gotta admit... this is amusing...
Dead on. And my dad was/is an alcoholic (cross-addict, actually) -- so I am extremely careful about it's use (now). Wow....

Not in the hospital...
Well, I've still got insomnia. Finally broke down and called the doc last night and he sent me to the ER. Thought I was going to end up with a transfusion -- as he told me on the phone my hematocrit had been 24 (he thought -- he didn't have it in front of him) the Monday before, and that though he'd been trying to avoid a transfusion, we'd do one ( Read more... )
