Well I went to see Silly to change her dressing before work. I can feel the lump just above her coronet band where the abcess is getting ready to burst out. The sooner it bursts out, the sooner the poor dear isn't in as much pain. It must be really sore now as she's stopped galloping about the field. My horse is an idiot. This morning it went cantering about the field (she's in the big field with the other mares since I've got no haylage) tossing her head about and not letting me near her to take the blasted headcollar off. Silly's poultice was full of pus again this morning. I rang the vet who reassured me that it can take a long time and told me not to worry and get them to come see her tomorrow or Monday morning if I was still worried.

That's my four closes done. No more until Saturday and tomorrow is a well deserved day off. I did get asked if I wanted to do a 4-10 but I was strong and said no. Very tired and I had to take an awful lot of codiene to get through.

I slept extremely badly this morning/afternoon which means tonight it going to be harder than expected. Just ordered a new phone - a contract phone. Wonder if I'm stupid.
