I haven't had a "normal" week in over a month. I took on the task of babysitting my nieces a couple of days a week. This requires very early mornings to accommodate their schedule. FEMA came out at the last minute today to inspect the basement. They checked it out and acknowledge that there is damage, but have denied our application for assistance. Apparently they are only focusing on people who have lost their homes, despite there being hundreds, if not thousands of people like us who have minor damage, but no flood ( Read more... )
