So, back in mid-July, I spent...a lot of money at The Bra Patch, a fabulous bra store in Raleigh, NC. I bought five beautiful bras that actually really truly fit for the first time in my life. Everything I touch turns to shit. I destroy every relationship I've been in. Even my body wants out and is trying to kill me. Keeping secrets doesn't work. Being honest doesn't work. PET scan was NEGATIVE!
I think most everyone has seen this on Twitter or FaceBook, but my PET scan was negative. Yes, I got results early, because I whined in my surgeon's direction and he called me with results as soon as he got them. I was pretty convinced it'd be positive, honestly, because, you know, everything else sucks. But he said that while there was obviously ( Read more... ) -

The PET/CT scan is over ... and now we wait for results. I'll get them either Monday or Tuesday, because I have an appointment both days, Monday with my surgeon, Tuesday with my oncologist ( Read more... ) -
Post-surgery body
I'm honestly loving it. I mean, there are things, but I haven't once looked down or caught my reflection and gone WTF?! I LIKE the way I look right now. I mean, I would prefer less of a tummy, but that's got nothing to do with my chest. I don't mind the scars -- although they're still covered with steri-strips.
