we have heard today that our friend greg, who was at school with andy, has died. he had been ill from liver cancer for some time, but had been doing quite well until relatively recently. well, I say quite well, he was terminal, but had responded quite well to chemo and we had all hoped that it would 'buy' him a number of years. he was 40. his wife ( Read more... )

I'm really feeling very low and can't seem to pick myself up. my hospital appt was awful acutally and I couldn't help but have a little weep on the bed/couch thingie. I didn't like the way the machine whirred over me and I particularly didn't like the stuff they put into my arm - it went in cold and then very hot. I could feel it hot all the way ( Read more... )

just been able to get into my emails (at last) and have had a reply from the royal liverpool university hosptial asking me to call so that they can discuss my case. I've replied saying I will next week when the children are back from school.

feel very frightened right now.

don't think I will have the pooter until tomrrow evening now.
