Day 48
|BREAKFAST| --
| SECOND SHIFT; SHOWERS| Sasuke actually meets Obito by accident, but they barely exchange words. This thread is non-canonical and therefore happened in THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
| LUNCH| Necessary business arrives with Sakura, who arranges to meet Sasuke to finally discuss the map they found in Doyleton. She also attempts to ask him about what happened the night he yelled at her like a jerk, and like a jerk, he refuses to say.
| FOURTH SHIFT; SUN ROOM| A thing called mun plans luck reunites Sasuke and Heat yet again, whereupon they decide they share the goal of beating the shit out of Landel. And then Sasuke-mun is a waste of oxygen.
| DINNER| Silent dinner.
Night 48
>> Sakura shows up to go over the map with Sasuke, as promised, which involves holding his hand for entirely practical reasons. They are almost adorable if not for Sasuke, but split up to pursue different goals once the map is read.
>> Sasuke stalks off through the halls, being unusually thoughtful, which leads to his realisation that he's not done much of late because his mun is a waste of oxygen.
>> Fortunately his descent into ineffectual irritation is stopped by successfully meeting up with Aidou and Zack right as a spandex suit and a shovel race by on the backs of a pair of shrieking patients. Of course Sasuke et al are very mature and only stare bemusedly after them before moving on with their night ... though Sasuke misses out on a handshake and confuses his newest acquaintance because of it.
>> Getting on with things, they head through the haunted Sun Room without incident mostly to avoid playercest, make good time through the cafeteria to the kitchen, where Zack notices Sasuke's funny way of moving, and finally to the trapdoor in the walk-in refrigerator.
>> But a wrench is thrown into their plans by way of Sasuke's latest friend Aidou thinks it's a bad idea, but Zack is in the fray and Sasuke can't resist a good fiery tussle, even though the chakra is unexpectedly familiar ... sadly, night ends before the fight can conclude.

Day 49
| BUS 3| Sasuke wakes with a happy memory of fire undampened by the rain, but it's instantly drenched by a certain Konoha-nin who has newly arrived and needs the Institute explained to him ... for the third time. Sasuke explains as tersely as he can and escapes Naruto as soon as the busses stop rolling.
| MORNING; (1) MAGUS PARK| Whereupon he runs into Sai, who has been enlisted by Nurse-chan to lead Sasuke around town. Both boys, having had bad experiences with fighting in town, agree begrudgingly and set off, Sasuke noticing the bad state of the town by stepping on some broken glass. | (2) MAIN STREET| And all might go well if not for the fact that Sai has a Kayako-reaction and chokes on the air! Sasuke attempts to assist until it is abruptly over, then is mean to Sai in an effort to find out what happened, but Sai calls it an allergic reaction and flees his dubious care.
| NOON; MAIN STREET| It is not a happy Sasuke that runs into Heat but Sasuke-mun is having a Lauren day and doesn't care. Sasuke informs Heat that he recognised the chakra in the basement and Heat beats no bushes admitting to having been the beastie in question, firing questions about Sasuke's eyes right back. Both withhold a certain amount of information but gain a bit in the exchange.
| LATE AFTERNOON; BILL'S HARDWARE | Sasuke runs into Renamon in Bill's Hardware while stealing some matches, identifying her by voice as someone who assisted in the attempt to rescue Naruto #2 a while back. He is impressed by her attitude and personality and they agree to work together should the opportunity arise.
| BUS 3| Concluding that the day has been a net gain of matches and an ally and net loss of what-even-happened-with-Sai, Sasuke is seated next to Zack for the return trip. He shares some information, including (unbeknownst to him) the fact that he is blind, and offers Zack use of the excess makeshift weapons he has on hand in case no alchemists or strokes of pointy luck turn up within a reasonable amount of time.
| DINNER| Dinner goes considerably less smoothly with the introduction of a new, younger, more eloquent, and possibly less sane roommate. Both Sasuke and Albedo are convinced the other will disappear first, and they fail to quite get along, but with a room named Alfredo Sauce they will one day.
Night 49
>> Unsettled by his new roommate, Sasuke nonetheless puts Albedo from mind and sets out with the goal of giving Itachi's remaining possessions burial by fire.
>> Whereupon a stroke of coincidence impossible by random chance but not when mun interference is involved, he finally meets Uchiha Obito. Obito jumps straight into demanding answers, and Sasuke insists on speaking as he walks.
>> Walking doesn't mean sugarcoating; Sasuke gives the most clinical and complete description of the massacre he can and is forced to admit he still doesn't really understand why it happened -- only to find out his projected calm is unappreciated.
>> Which confuses and angers him greatly and earns him an angry response in turn. Which leads to a sharper response from him and memories he doesn't expect to remember. In grand Uchiha tradition, the first thing kin does is fight kin ...
>> Or would be if they didn't get portal'd to another room. Night ends before they can figure out where they've ended up. (Sasuke gets the ring.)

Day 50 [HIATUS]
Night 50
>> Sasuke wakes up pissier than usual after realising that he's been unconscious all day.
>> He sets out determined to do something, anything, anything at all.
>> Only to run into the one person who greatly desires to be done. Muraki's voice sets off Sasuke's already hair-trigger temper and he attacks on instinct despite Muraki's claim not to remember anything. Fortunately for the good doctor, a ninja turtle leaps to his defence! The ability to understand Muraki and Raphael's English cuts off with the Institute's language power outage and Sasuke is unable to explain Muraki's level of bastardese, which only serves to make him look more like the crazy serial killer in the equation.
>> Meanwhile, the crazy serial killer decides to further aid ... himself by cheerfully portalling them to another room for more fighting and also smashing his chainsaw into Sasuke's shoulder. Raphael makes the unfortunate mistake of trusting the more coherent of the two and continues to defend Muraki.
>> Right through a door into the hallway, where Sasuke tries and fails to communicate Muraki's sins (at least the ones regarding him) and ends up pinning Raphael non-lethally -- at which point Muraki seizes a beautiful opportunity, knocks Sasuke unconscious, and takes the spoils. Very literally.

Day 51
| BREAKFAST| Thanks to Muraki's swift hands, Sasuke wakes and is so visibly uncertain and displeased at the idea that he might not be a player killer that it sparks the not-concern of the steady vampire. Aidou gets the story out of him and shares what information he knows, whereupon Sasuke decides to try and locate Muraki in the Landel's haystack again.
| SECOND SHIFT; SUN ROOM| Fortunately, meeting the calming presence of Renamon leads him to evaluate his chances more logically. They discuss the basement and Sasuke offers to take Renamon as a third on one of his many basement trips when she's next available.
| LUNCH| Sasuke takes note of the Americanness of the food by virtue of having once been informed that America is a country. He fails to take note of the fake name Sylar, his lunch buddy, gives him, and totally does not care that 'Gabriel' is impressed by how long he's been at the Institute.

|DINNER| --
Night 51
>> Sasuke, Aidou, and Zack find out they're all living in the same hall and it's just like a dorm slumber party!!! before heading out.
>> Zack attempts to make conversation as they walk with limited but not no success. Sasuke remembers Mr. Radio for them, which leads to discussion of the 'rebels'.
>> Until suddenly, a wild Gaara appeared! Zack pops off to check up on Tifa at the same time as the Kazekage arrives, demanding answers from Sasuke.
>> All efficiency, Sasuke opts to walk and talk, displaying sensitivity in how he informs Aidou he doesn't care if Gaara gets left behind in the basement and succeeding in explaining the Institute in probably the least descriptive terms yet.
>> He also confirms that Gaara has been in the Institute before and confirms for Zack that he and Gaara are from the same world. Aidou backs it up by mentioning that Gaara is an ex-roommate.
>> They finally make headway toward the basement despite various startling revelations for Gaara to blink at, getting down the stairs before Sasuke-mun remembers she is a waste of oxygen and the night ends.

Day 52
| BREAKFAST| Sasuke wakes up, annoyed, to Nyo Nyo Nurse-chan's efforts to make him a new friend! Unfortunately he's not really in the mood to meet and greet with Stefan.

>> But it is worth noting that the steady marched into his room, shook his sleeping form, and glared some holes into him before leaving. Indicating love, or something.

|BREAKFAST| --
|SECOND SHIFT| --
| LUNCH| Sasuke wakes up after being out of commission for far longer than makes him happy or mentally stable, and Sakura is the unfortunate victim. He manages to stay civil, but when she hands him a well-intended paper flower he gets snappy.
| FOURTH SHIFT; MUSIC ROOM| But thoughtful, enough to absently inform an angry Aidou to come find him. For which he is soundly complained at, only to have Aidou lower his hackles, which indicates even more love-or-something. Or that they've known each other too long, which is the main conclusion of the thread.
|DINNER| --
Night 53
>> Aidou is pleased to so pleased find Sasuke awake that he doesn't snipe, for which Sasuke is grateful enough to also be civil. He reveals that he has one of the portal rings and doesn't afraid intends to use it despite Aidou's caveat against using what Landel provides.
>> He also has to admit that he has no idea where the portal he travelled through the night of the event actually took him as they head out, as well as the fact that he has no new news.
>> Fortunately the subject changes to speculation as to Landel's motives. Sasuke shares his pet theory and Aidou is intrigued, if not quite bowled over.
>> They meet up with Zack again, and Sasuke-mun suddenly proves once more that she is a waste of oxygen.

Day 54
| BREAKFAST| Another failed nightshift means that Sasuke is raring for a fight when one presents itself, even if it's one with food. He meets Beelzemon, notes the familiar name structure, bonds by beating up some staff, and slips out of the cafeteria. Once in the halls, he attempts to isolate and interrogate a soldier but is (ironically?) brought down by by well-oiled military teamwork that doesn't go unnoticed.
| SECOND SHIFT; RECREATIONAL FIELD| Heavily sedated, Sasuke meanders out into the field for roll call and ends up meeting and finally explaining things in more detail to Gaara.
| LUNCH| Sasuke manages to eat away more of the sedation during lunch, but not enough to entirely fail to impress Harvey. He still manages to pump some information out of the man.
|FOURTH SHIFT; EVENT POST| Martin Landel is fired. Sasuke, napping in the Sun Room, is startled awake to hear it.
| DINNER| Sasuke speaks just enough at dinner to ascertain that Albedo is still there, but both boys are too occupied in their own thoughts to make small talk.
Night 54
>> Thanks to eating like a growing boy, Sasuke gets the ability to use the Sharingan's full potential restored. Flooded with excitement and also the power to not walk into walls, he sets out fully intent to tear into the night.
>> Though he still moves not without caution, noting the difference in perception now that he's used to hearing, but mostly still really excited.
>> He meets up with Renamon, only to be accosted by a bad-luck-ridden Sakura. Despite her luck, Sasuke agrees to join up with her for the night. Chaperoned by an unsuspectingly insensitive-to-pain Renamon. Darn.
>> In the interests of time and also being able to see, Sasuke makes the executive decision to take the longcut to the kitchen ... except Sakura's luck fails and she falls right onto Sasuke.
>> Which results in Sasuke questioning her ... whatever is happening. Sakura dodges, Renamon advises honesty, and Sasuke agrees with Renamon and demands better answers that Sakura can't give. Sasuke, however, is inspired by all this sharing to share that he's gotten his Sharingan usage back.
>> Before things get too bromantic they reach the kitchen only to run into a Sai without memories and a Brock with a power to sense danger. These things are confusing and annoying to Sasuke, who just wants to get on with it -- so after a very brief introduction and explanation, he forges ahead and forces the riffraff to follow as well.
>> Not without first demanding some more words from Renamon, who divulges that she can't feel pain.
>> Before they can get much further than the stairs, Sakura takes another mighty tumble and ends up ... basically in Sasuke's lap. Oh frabjous day! Or fabulous. Sakura wishes someone would bump into her while Sasuke is a gentleman for the first time in his life and offers to assist her throughout the rest of the night before pushing everyone along again.
>> Poor perplexed Sai takes everyone to the Sphinx's chamber, where the Sphinx snarks at them and everyone is confused. Except Sakura, who undresses Sasuke with her eyes, and Brook, who is both flirt and gentleman. Or at least tries. They manage to answer the riddle and get the shield before night's end.
