My mom stopped into town today to drop off some boxes so I can start packing up to move out.
Totally not ready for that.

I'm suffering from PTSD: Post-Thesis Stupor Disorder.

Let me give you a brief run-down of the last 4 weeks of my life:

I hand over my change, quarters and dimes collected throughout the week in a bowl by my door.

One of those days...

I slept in again today.

The alarm went off and I woke up and turned it off.  I grabbed my watch and laid down for an extra ten minutes of sleep.

Ten minutes later, the hour hand on the watch face had skipped ahead a number.

I've been writing a lot of prose and poetry lately.  Not that any of it's really good, but I have fun doing it.   Here's a goofy poem I wrote in class today.

I can count by twos
Yes, I learned when I was young
But now as I get older
It isn't very fun

I try not to keep counting
But it seems I just can't stop
If I linger on a number
