Got my advent calendar entry in by the skin of my teeth! I have a bunch of unfinished fics sitting around waiting to be completed... it just seems like I have no time to do them :/ Plus, it's mostly smut waiting to be written... and that requires a bit of a time commitment and the right mindset, haha. I will get them done eventually! -

This has been the most interesting week in DC, natural phenomenon-wise. There is supposed to be a party at my house tonight, and as long as we don't lose power, it's still on. In the meantime, I'll be sewing, just in case I don't get a chance to later due to massive power outages ( Read more... ) -
Otakon... the final post
So Otakon is over :( Another year, another bunch of cosplay that almost fell apart but somehow managed. It was HOT, and apparently over 30,000 people showed up this year. It's a good thing I've got my room for 2012 already reserved, I guess :D ( Read more... ) -

Just extremely preoccupied with getting my cosplay finished in time for Otakon. 2 weeks until D-day, so it's starting to get to crunch time, where I'm up until 4 am working on a pair of pants I'm not even going to wear. HARRY EFFIN POTTER
I just got back from a vacation to Florida to go see the new Harry Potter section of Universal Studios, and oh my god, it was amazing. I bought so much stuff o_O Hogsmeade, Hogwarts, THE SORTING HAT, Ollivander's, talking portraits, I mean they nailed all of it. God it was so great.
