the security of scharnweber hq was breached this afternoon between 1500 and 1730 hours. when i arrived home circa 1800 and entered my room, i noticed my laptop was not in its customary place on my desk. i asked brent and tamara if the door was still double locked when they came home, which they affirmed. when i told them my computer was missing ( Read more... )

Last Friday was the opening of the backjumps exhibit in Berlin - a giant graffiti-oriented exhibition in Kunstraum Kreuzberg. The building houses work by around 20 artists, each one given their own room, but the most amazing part is the shanty town built in front - a giant playground for adults and children. i have had lots of issues with ichat's audio capabilities before, although it was nice to have people over last spring while erin and friends were at her parent's place and just leave the laptops open.. you could approach the computer and have a conversation with whoever happened to be sitting near the other terminal 2000 miles away. really not ( Read more... )
