I was talking the other day with a friend of mine about the correlation between Depression and intelligence. He was saying that he doesn't think of himself as being depressed so much as being observant and looking at the world around us. OK, it's only one reason among many, but the ban on showing photos of soldier's coffins or funerals sticks in my craw as an immobile lump. Behind a cut, I am posting pictures (pulitzer prize winning photos at that) that seemed to have somehow slipped pass the censors. (Why are there censors in a country founded on freedom of the press?)
