Update on the work stuff. I had a "catching up" meeting with my department director this afternoon. I've been in NYC for two weeks, and working for eight (business) days. Today I feel much more comfortable and productive at work, like I'm able to function completely on my own and make relatively easy progress on my projects. I came in this morning to find a box from Patrick waiting for me at the front desk. I brought it back to my office, opened it up ... and found two dozen red roses and a dozen stargazer lilies!
