New Shoes
It's been a while since I've posted. My sound level mannequin head project hit a gigantic snag, due in large part to office hijinks that made a bit of a mess of things for a while. Moon, man. Moon.

Project Update Three
Hey folks - a quick project update today. This was supposed to be a video, but that went south in a big hurry. I'm intent on making some videos as I move forward, but today's attempt was not great. At all.

Complaining Day
I commented on twitter that if I told my staff they could not complain today that it would be 80% quieter in the office. I'm not sure what the deal was, but everyone one was in full on whine/complain mode. About everything.

Head hunter
Step one in my "How loud are your tunes?" project is to find a proper mannequin head. This is proving to be a bit tricky. I'm still not decided if I want a guy or a gal head. I've been inspired, and its time to get out the tools and get cracking. I read an article about a dummy with a sound level meter rigged up into it for testing the loudness of mp3 players and other ear-bud type listening devices. Notebooks.
I like notebooks. I like jotting things down. I've fiddled around with a number of them, the latest were some Moleskine books. They are okay, but the covers don't wear very well.
