Recently I've started wondering whether people have checklists when it comes to choosing a partner. When you meet a new person, do you go

"Right Age? Check. Good Job? Check. Face doesn't induce disgust? Check. Speaks Intelligently? Nah! Sorry, out of the game! Next please!"Or would this thing called "Chemistry" just creeps up and whacks

Erm, mine's more of a blacklist than a checklist actually ... y'know, things that I absolutely don't want in a partner (e.g. highly insecure and clingy women, someone who doesn't wanna have kids, etc). Otherwise, I'm open to anything and might even learn to appreciate qualities in a person that I would never have thought to add to a checklist. Yeah, surprise me! ;)

not shorter than me but then not that much taller either. you know i have a thing for guys over 185 cm... the last few are like 170+ cm only. when i wear my heels i'm taller than all of them....................................

Heh. Is the age, height, occupation of your date something which will honestly bother you?

Not exactly. I do have something in mind like the man has to have a good job, very tall, older etc. But I always ended up with someone who is errr... short and er... in some weird profession. Height and job don't bother me as much as age. I prefer someone older, but I think I can start to accept younger men since all the older ones seem to be taken.

Bottom line, as long as I like, I take.

Really ah? I had a friend who shared the same sentiments as you, but end up having a 7-years r/s with a smoker. Heh. But happy for you that you end up with the guy of your dreams! ;)
