Soo...I got a 100 on my first research article review for my research theories class. I also got to play the English major, which made me feel really good. Apparently, when interpreting things like Interview data, you use the same skills you use as an English major. That rocked my socks off, let me tell you ( Read more... )

So...I got my first pay check for working in my assistantship. Get this..101 dollars...for 20 effing hours..excuse me, let me rephrase, I worked about 40 hours but only get paid for half of that. How, exactly, was I supposed to afford living anywhere with only 200 a month coming in? SOrry, but average rent around here is 400 a month. Boy am I glad ( Read more... )

So I was feeling ok about everything, given the circumstances. Now I'm totally not. I feel rather rejected. I feel more than slightly worthless.
