I handed in the disserwhatzit to the last of the three people who need to read it and talked to the person who's in charge of chemistry teaching at UCD about positions for summer/fall/winter if I choose to hang here for a while longer. Well I've officially walked, but I'm not graduated quite yet. However yesterday morning I finished the last bits of the dissertation and today I get to hand it to one committee member (the other being out of town until next week). Today I've managed to finish edits on Chapter 2. Check over chapters 3 and 4 and fix some figures/formating there. I'm working on chapter 5 of 5 right now (pg 16 of 78) making sure the experimental is all consistant formating and re-naming the structures according to our new scheme ( Read more... )

And after several phone calls and some nice people helping me out. I've found a box at my Apt. complex (you know the one they didn't tell me about) from College Apparel which should be  my robes. Now to just get to the office sometime when they're open.

Too much to do too little time.

I didn't get to spend anywhere near enough time at Whole Earth Fest. this weekend as I'd have liked. I did get to swing by long enough to order a top to go with the pretty dragon skirt (yay!) and say hi/thanks to the guy I bought my dishes from last year.
