Slightly random question... I have a lot of stuff - like old school reports, photographs, letters, cards, etc - from over the years that I definitely want to keep. But I don't really know how to store. What do you do with your stuff of this sort? -

I'm struggling through an academic article in French (on my GCSE French taken in 1996..), if you're good at French, could you tell me whether I'm correct in my interpretation of, "une apologie de la vraie religion qui integre une reflexion sur l'hemeneutique scripturaire" as "a defence of the true faith which includes a passage about scriptural ( Read more... ) -

Oh dear, I thought, that nice Mr. Gatting has lost his marbles. I do hope he finds them again.
And, then, I reread it to find that it actually said:

I'm finding the Obama/Clinton contest rather interesting to observe. In general, I find it frightening how much the media influences our perceptions. In particular, it influences how we perceive personalities. Television shows us clips of speeches, selecting them according to what they want to present, newspapers choose quotations according to ( Read more... )
