Should I feel like an idiot that it just dawned on me 2 seconds ago while looking at the random live journal picture page that why people are waling around campus with black stuff on their forehead in a plus is because its ASH WEDNESDAY, and the "plus" is a cross and the "black stuff" is a cross. It makes much more sense now. -
mardi gras
This was the best and the worst mardi gras ever. It always changes, I can never tell where i'll be in my life the next year. Mardi Gras lends itself to being built up a great bit and many times failing to impress like it should. But even if the parades suck and other things go wrong the spirit is always there. Isn't turkey supposed to make you tired?
Its 5:30 am in Bradenton, Fl or as the cool kids call it, "B-Town". I tried to go to sleep a bit ago to then realize that I was fucking hungry. Upon this discovery I knew it wouldn't be long before I was forced to venture into the HOUSE to get some random food. Would the alarm be on? Would the door be unlocked? It's 7 am and i can't sleep. My roommates computer sounds like a fucking space ship blasting off. FUCK.
