Some of my spunk returning and although there will be setbacks, I have the greatest online family any old girl can have. Sent some time in the library today, got a card, a novel by Tom Wolfe to read and some movies on aging and the challenges from all over the world in that regard. The pressure to get wheels was immense when I was living with my son and his wife. She did have to drive me and that was a terrible inconvenience for her. I'd only go to the bank or the store when she went but there were other trips that I am sure added to her frustration. Skookum is growing very fast. He is long and thin but looks like a fluffy ball. He weighs about 8 pounds now. I love him and he is a completely demanding pup. If he needs something and I am on my laptop in bed, he comes and puts his paws or face on the keyboard and if that doesn't work he climbs up onto my chest and sits between me and the screen ( Read more... )
