I feel so good. As I was just babbling to Liz, I have all this sudden responsibility and freedom and it's scary and awesome. And it's helping me learn about me. I'm rediscovering my own preferences. All my goals suddenly seem infinitely more attainable.

Last post from the old house! Tonight will be my first night in my new apartment. I'm keeping my computer here tonight since I won't get internet at the new place until tomorrow and that way I can just pick it up on my way home from work. I signed my lease. First thoughts? I have to go downstairs from ground level to get my mail, which is kinda weird. The walk-in closet in the bedroom is enormous, but the door is really narrow. My mouth feels better. It hurt last night and this morning I woke up with an enormous headache, but it's not as bad now. The right side of my face is still bruised and yellow, but the left side looks almost normal. I'm focusing on keeping my mouth as clean as possible.

I bought a bridesmaid dress on ebay for $50, less than $60 including shipping. It's fron David's Bridal, black satin, floor-length, similar in cut to the junior bridesmaid dress I liked - a-line skirt, ruched bust, except with a halter instead of a yoked neck. Brand new, still has the tags on it.

Yay!
