Further upgrading from the heap...
So also awhile ago when I found the stack'o laptops, there were 2 iBooks among them (and I needs mention: nothing in the stack had power cords. A Rocketfish multi-tip laptop adapter has worked wonders for most all of them to get tried [but not the 2 macs]). Tonight, I found Live Journal again. I wandered SecondLife earlier -briefly-, and found it void of any meaningful contact (and generally empty). FaceBook is a bunch of game posts, funnies, some strangers, some family, some politics... but oddly doesn't really feel social. LLs management of SL: tragic
Secondlife is run by a company called Linden Labs. They've gone from a one building show, to running server farms etc in several major cities. They're still nowhere close to Blizzard in success. Not even Habo Hotel in success ( Read more... ) -
Feeling better
Slept 14 hours or so last night- got up right before noon T.T cough is minor now, ear/throat itching has gone down significantly. Maybe will use an actual sick day tomorrow. -
5 Years!
Today (well, yesterday now) makes 5 years that Carissa and I have been married! Seems like so few, feels like so many (in a good way!). Hoping for many many more! <3 -

I'm awake at this hour due to a cold. Started as dry throat in mornings. Yesterday became small cough. Today same. Tonight... it feels like an allergic reaction: not much drainage (and yes, plenty of water), but so itchy! Can't quit coughing. Took a nyquil and a hot shower. Still awake.
